Did original 427 S/C´s have a firwall mounted oil vapor tank installed by Shelby?

Hope you can give me some advice: Having gone through all the sources I have available and looking for information whether the firewall mounted oil seperator tank was a Shelby installed item in the 60s on the 427´s S/C. I am sort of lost as I do find plenty of pictures with and without seperator tank - Cannot judge whether they where Shelby fitted as a "standard" or whether some owner fitted them later.

Yes, it was a factory configured item on Comp and SC models only...not street
