Not Ranked
Okay, here are a few others, ranked first to last in my collection:
COBRA The First 40 Years, by Trevor Legate (Mr. Legate is a member here, incidentally)
AC COBRA The truth behind the Anglo-American Legend, by Rinsey Mills
Original AC Ace & Cobra The Restorer's Guide to AC, Bristol, and Ford engined cars Ace, Aceca and Cobra, by Rinsey Mills (This one is hard to find)
Essential AC Cobra, Rinsey Mills
and, just for fun...
Shelby Cobra Gold Portfolio 1962-1969 (collection of magazine articles from Road and Track, Hot Rod---an article I remember reading when I was about 12..., and others) Fun, historical perspective.
And more fun...
The Cobra Story, by Carroll Shelby (I have a vintage copy of this offered for sale)
Books are fun, but you can't beat the wealth of knowledge available from the members here. I had a number of questions on everything from the color of original Cobra 289 hi-po's (black) to whether a chrome roll bars was "correct" (no).
I started out as a purist, but ended up bending a few rules in the construction of my FIA (I like chrome roll bars... and K&N air filters... and the 427-style wheels---but this one is arguable for originality, for sometimes the were used for the wider tires...).
Anyhow, enjoy your research!
