Is this one of those ploys to get the wife out to dinner on a weekly basis?

Rick, we are not picking on you. Just look at the last tread you...ignored.

So, what is good at Siam's?

You can bring the wife or leave her at home!

What's good at Siams? In my opinion, EVERYTHING!!! I have been eating there for over 18 years so I may be a little biased though. For my money they have the best crab rangoon (sp?), phad thai, general tso's, orange beef, etc on the planet. I have never had better. Of course, after 18 years of eating there, it may be like going home for your mother favorite dish. But the folks that I have sent there for the most part agree with my call.

Come to the meeting or the London Show and find out for yourself!

Thread I ignored?

Rick

Assistance is needed everywhere and anywhere! Decide what you are willing to commit to and there is a spot!

Last night we talked about:
-vendors, manufacturers, accessory retailers and donations
-participant refund, cost, and timing
-bank accounts
-financial statements(still need a cpa!)
-by laws, tax ids, 501c3, etc
-event ideas (many of which we have got from you folks!)
-budget projections
-advertising and covering the cost of
-CF

The list goes on! Two and a half hours of non-stop work!

Rick

Tusedays would be a killer. The drive out of Michigan would not be worth it.

I'll trust you to speak for those of us that can't.

And, last, the ignore thread that turned into the chat room.

Rick, is there something that you consider the biggest bother??

I had to miss this weeks meeting because of a family commitment but I was told:

- over 60 rooms are booked (take it from me, that is a bunch this early) most at the Hampton so far. Which surprised me, I would have thought most would be at the Best Value (formerly the cross country)
- we have an exclusive t-shirt vendor and CF volunteers will work the sales. We buy the shirts for resale, CF keeps the profit.
- Rich Bailey is working on the art work
- Larry Russo it taking care of the name tags
- meetings where held with all the folks in London to work out some details and talks are underway with the airport (I haven't been to these, they don't need me!)
- Accounts have been created and we have or are in the process of getting the tax id.
- When I ask Bill what vendors and manufacturers are coming he just keeps telling me "everyone I talk to says they are coming"! Personally, I would like to see more accessory type folks as well. After all, I already have a car!

Progress!!

I would encourage everyone to sign up and send in the registration fee as soon as possible. As you can imagine, knowing how many folks are going to be there is advance is a BIG plus. So much so that there have been talks about late entry fee.

Thanks
Rick

yea...yea...... I know I'm the stuffy bastid that demands the group discussions stay focused on business......

however, I enjoyed the comical discusion about setting up rear ends, ring and pinions...and replacing crush washers....(hee hee thanks Bill!)

The point is that: for anyone interested in getting involved, not only are the meetings productive, we have a lot of fun sharing cobra info and stories....while tossing back a brew or two.

The group is very casual and friendly...and we welcome anyone interested to attend, volunteer and contribute.

CYA next week...same time-same place.

Rob
