Update 04/23/05:

All: I received 4 emails this week from various poeple asking if there was any way at all to get the hotel to open up a few more rooms at the WSCB group rate. The hotel closed us at 95 reservations with 6 cancel/upgrades on 4/15. I called today and they have some standard rooms left, but at $119. Our rate WAS $69/night. Some people have upgraded to Imperial and Luxury suites which freed up some standard rooms I believe. I need to follow up Monday to make sure what I see online is true. There may still be a chance if we try a 10-block add request.

No guarantee, but I'm willing to go back and give it a try and ask. I'll have to do it quick though. To do this, I need (10) names ASAP to submit it for review and consideration. If you or a friend or close family member still need a room at the group rate, email me your full first/last name and what nights (2 day minimum) and I'll submit a list of 10 names on 4/27/05. I have 3 solid now, and need 7 more to request a last minute 10 block. I have 10 reservations for WSCB set aside for people that take rooms only, but we gotta get the rooms for you first. Last chance for gas at this rate if we can get it! Let me know ASAP, no later than 4/26/05 Midnight.

Last WSCB Registration Reminder: April 15th, 2005

- is the registration deadline for the Western States Cobra Bash (WSCB) in Reno, Nevada at the Peppermill Hotel Casino. The Corral area will be limited to the number of attendees registered as per the site agreement.

We already met the lodging quota last week, and thanks to all for your interest to date. We are starting to get another round of last-minute questions and wonderings by people now, so we just wanted to let you know there are about 14 days left for you to register if you have not done so already. There are 20 spots of 100 left now. There is a great list of people so far, and car types attending from almost every manufacturer, and then some.

Getting down to the wire...

Only 2 days (40 hours) left to register. Last Call for the Western States Cobra Bash in 2005!

Once we get the final-final midnight Friday April 15th, its all she wrote for taxes and WSCB Corral spots. The hotel rates go from $69 to $125.99 and up for any rooms that are left. Send in those last minute registrations / email notifications and postmarked mail. The total is needed for the final fence/hotel lot plan, badges, window stickers to get all these things done in time.

Thanks to everyone for your interest either way. We have a great group attending this first year, and I believe down to around 8 rooms left in the block.
