Albq., NM, 8/11 & 12, 2007 HPD School, lappers, & road race

For those near Albuquerque, you are invited to the next SWMS event mid August, 2007. SWMS holds 4 events each year, all at Sandia Motor Speedway's 14 turn, 1.65 mile road course.

All events include a HPE Drivers School on Saturday. SWMS is somewhat unique in that we invite street cars to the school and lapping groups. Safety is a primo word so passing is limited to the front and back straights with a wave by the overtaken driver. Overly agressive or stupid driving will result in cheek chewing by chief steward. Trading paint results in disinvite.

On track groups include student, lapper, open wheel, vintage, and contemporary race cars. Complete details at club's web site - www.swms.org .

Drivers, workers, spectators, sponsors, and benefactors are all welcome. This is the club's 6th year of operations

The PAS club from Arizona is joining us for the August event. We'll always welcome some Ford powered cars!

If you visit from Colorado or North and want a night or two in Taos on the way to or fro, let me know. We'll sharpen the pencil a bit for race enthusiasts at the Indian Hills Inn, Taos Plaza.
