Default Agoura Hills (new Los Angeles) new shop has Shelby clothes

There are lots of shops selling car accessories but the guys starting a shop called World Class Motoring have a lot of experience (one worked for Beverly Hills Motoring Accessories) so they know exactly what people wtih collector cars want. They are opening a 1,200 square-foot showroom right off the Chesebro offramp in Agoura Hills,CA just south of the 101 freeway Dec. 1st. Since it's their opening weekend, they will also be open Sunday, 9 a.m. t 7 p.m. both days. They promise to have unique items, including fine automotive art and sculptures, rare out-of-print books, cutting edge apparel, including at least two Shelby-licensed brands (and even Shelby shoes!) , and car covers.

Wallace Wyss , author of SHELBY The Man The Cars The Legend, will be autographing that title as well as his newer book COBRA and SHELBY MUSTANG Photo Archive as well as showing his giclee canvases which , among other subjects depict Shelby as a race driver in the 1950s, the '06 Ford GT in Heritage livery and a 427 with a polished-out body. He will nail down the appearance times during the week (right now there is a raging fire in Malibu area!).

If you want to google the address it's 5076 Chesebro Road, Agoura Hills, CA

Wallace,

So I have to ask, after hyping yourself for so long, why in the world do you still speak about yourself in the third person?

Default Maybe since I have a twin I should be in the second person

The store is pretty cool, the center of attraction was this big computerized game driving thing (only there last weekend but due to revisit periodically) that moves the bucket seat like a real car and rather violently. I didn't want to be tossed around so I didn't try it.

I saw the Shelby shoes, like tennis shoes kind of suede looking and the original style Sixties jackets that say COBRA.

I think the owners will be changing their stock rapidly as they get a handle
on who their customers are (I saw in the parking lot a Viper, a Ferrari 328, a '49 Mercury chop top James Dean style but most impressive was a Kirkham 427 polished with the dull aluminum stripes.) They have a good book section, some fine art, even fancy picnic hampers. At least one of the owners used to work for Beverly Hills Motoring Accessories which pioneered this type of boutique car accessory store.
