This is right in my back yard! Great !!! I'll be there, perhaps with a date. Many thanks, John, for your efforts.

Wine Country Cobra Classic Update!
Hi Folks,
Looks like we may have the Sonoma Newspaper showing up Saturday. A good friend of mine is trying to make the connection.
Also, City of Sonoma Parks & Rec guy in charge “Dave” will be there with his Porsche Speedster.
Finally after 6 weeks and a day of tuning in the hills & highways of El Dorado County, my blue car came home yesterday. Just needs a good cleaning
then ready for Saturday.
Have a safe drive and see you there!
Talk soon, John

That was a Blast!
John,
Thanks for putting that whole shindig together - it was FUN. A great ride over, a great lunch, lots of Cobras and new faces, and a great drive back.
Thanks again!

John, wonderful time. It's good to see everyone again. I liked the idea of the BACC and Nor Cal getting together. Now next time we maybe should have CCCV join us for a threesome..........AKKKK, you know what I mean.........

John,
Great turnout. Always fun to see a bunch of cobras. I'm sure the locals enjoyed it just as much as we did. Also, a nice venue for the wife to do something other than sit around. Is this going to be an annual thing?
Ed,
Now I know who you are and the story behind your avitar.

Thanks Everyone!
Hi All,
Yes, That was fun! I was blown away by the response, cars, and you guys. I thought, well we may get 60 but didn’t realize what 60 cobras, 1 GT40, 1 Mustang, 1 Sunbeam Tiger, 1 truck & trailer hauling a boss302 Trans Am car, and 1 original-original cobra would look like. Man, we packed that place with 65 cars.
It was really cool to see you guys coming down Broadway in packs, stopping traffic, and creating a scene as you came into the horseshoe. I think the locals really enjoyed the cars too and know that we will be welcomed back. What a great turnout! Just wish I had taken more pictures and had more time to visit.
There are some great places here to do this sort of thing so I’m game whenever you guys are. Also thought it was cool how the two clubs really rallied for this one and made it happen in a big way. Totally cool and I think really fun for everyone. Cobra people are the Best!
I would love to see some pictures if you gotem.
Thanks for a fun day and see many of you soon at the Bash!
Talk soon, John

John, Thanks for the time and effort,I hope you covered costs for arranging such a great outing.
I was glad to put some faces to the Bay area group, Tony and Allen, and to see our Sac. Pals again.
Your car looks so much better outside reflecting the sun than on stands in a garage. smile

John,
Great job and thanks for the effort. Great cars, nice weather, picked up some new ideas, local shops, what more could you ask for. A great tune-up for the Bash.
Not to bring up a sore point, but did you get enough donations to cover the expenses?
I like Ed's idea of getting the Central Coast (Central Valley?) Cobra Club to join next time. Isn't the internet great! Maybe in Sept/Oct when the weather won't be so hot ... how about Sac at the Capital!
Who drove the FARTHEST?
SEE YOU ALL AT THE BASH!

Sacramento isn't a bad idea, but I cringe at the though of the Capital. The adage "out of sight - out of mind" applies in this case. If we drove our fire breathing machines downtown to the Capital every eco-friendly, smog hating, nut job legislator will want to save the world on our backs. Not to mention the Sac City PD.... they would have a field day. I think we can come up with a better, more car friendly venue. Maybe somewhere on the River.
Just MHO.
BTW - I saw a lot of pictures being taken Saturday... where are the photos guys?
