Default Wanted 289 or 302 high perf engine

A friend of mine who owns a red "regular" Cobra MKIV (AK 1456) wants to get more power out of his car. He is looking for a top quality engine min. power at the crank 370 to 400 hp. Engine needs to be driveable with regular pump gas.

He's got the cash, so none of that "I will have to ask my wife first".
Engine needs to fit T5 box. If possible with some Cobra goodies.

Thanks for passing on the info.

Gerard

Suggest to your friend to consider a 351W, instead of a 302. 370 - 400 HP is easily achievable without a lot of work, and the power is there at street RPM. Hood cleaarance is tight, but everything bolts up.
