This same engine (with a Shelby block) went 9.25 @ 146 in my 3300 lb Fairlane 3 years ago. It is currently disassembled and being freshened. It cost approx. $26k just to buy the parts for this engine before any machine work. I’m asking $22,000 obo carbs to pan completely fresh, assembled, & ready to run w/ base line tune up. I’ll also substitute an aluminum Shelby block for an additional $2500 and/or detune and modify the engine for your application before reassembly. You can e-mail me at
febigdog@aol.com or call (401) 737-1495 and leave a message. You can view pictures of a similar engine (different block, intake, distributor, and vac pump) in my picture area. Thanks
