Just received my set. I have not assembled them as of yet but can't wait. This resolved an issue I have been dwelling over since I started my Cobra, what small block valve covers can I go with. I have always loved the look of a 427 with the chrome Pent Roof valve covers and the "427" emblem on them. These along side of a turkey pan just looks great. Now I can have the look I have always wanted with out changing my engine or settleing for something that I really didn't want. Thanks SuperHart.....PS Very quick responce and deliver time. Thanks...

Those are too cool! I know I'll be doing a double-take the first time I see some on a small block. They really give you the look of the FE.

I like these a lot better than the ones I saw that put a small block Ford valve cover (Cobra) on a small block Chevy. Yuk!

The winter will soon be finished and the sound of Cobras will resonate throughout the land again. Now is the time to plan that last winter Cobra project before the weather breaks. I am in the process of ordering up more sets of adapter plate blanks from the machinist with a couple of small modifications to try and make this batch even better than previous ones. Pricing rose a tiny bit as the cost of materials rose but these plates will still be a very good value. The new kits will come supplied with the premium steel reinforced rubber smallblock valve cover gaskets as standard.

In addition, the friendly neighborhood machinist and I are working on production of a dual quad intake manifold for the Ford 351W motor based on the one that currently resides in my car (see photo below). This manifold, using an Offenhauser 360 degree intake as the core, will accept dual Holley carbs (#8007 390 cfm recommended)running backwards like on the original 427FE motor and will use the original linkage for the 427FE lowriser setup. Also, there should be no hood clearance issues with these manifolds. Pricing has yet to be determined. If you have an interest in a set of pentroof valve cover adapter plates please let me know to reserve your set. I will be happy to answer any questions about the intake manifold as well. Please E-mail me for info. CLick on this link to go to my Build Page to see more photos and information: SuperHart's Cobra Project Page.

Enjoy the rest of the winter.

YES, GUYS!!!! This engine is a 1969 Ford 351W throughout disguised as a 427FE using my valve cover adapter plates and modificed intake manifold.
