Dan,

Pierce Manifolds carries the chokes...I had the 42's on my car originally and it ran like crap...speaking with Mark on the comp car they are running 42's but he stated that it doesn't run well stop and go but loves WOT.

Are you trying to move up the RPM Range?

Matt

I think Dan at Pierce Manifolds did a calculation and said that the 37mm that I am now running is good up to 4500 RPM that I needed 42's or so to have enought air flow to go to 6,000 RPM's It sounds like I need to check into it further. Matt what chokes are you running in yours?

I had 42's in mine and went down to 38's....you will find that the streetability will go down....I was thinking of dynoing mine with both to see what happened just haven't gotten around to it....

its kind of a pain because if you think about it everything will change...the chokes aren't cheap either...and with more air you will need more fuel...just a suggestion but I can get into mine to the rev at 6500 with no problems...peak is at 5500 so yea I could probably move that up but I get there so freakin fast why mess with it for what maybe 10 hp? I got 40 torque from the pipes.

Matt The more I think about it and after what you have said, I think I will leave well enough alone. I am working on my transmisson problem now and talking to several people to figure that out. You can't beat the good old Top loaders. I just wish they had a 5th gear like the Tremic.
Take care!
Dan
