I don't pretend to know anything about FE engines. I am great on windsors, but that's about it. I will, however, interject my opinion on this subject.
As you know, at least by not knowing who I am, I am pretty new to the forum. I was welcomed by people at face value. super-kit-car came in to the forum and simply by offering an item for sale has been blasted up one side and down the other. His engine may or may not be what he says it is. His asking price may be reasonable or it may be outrageous. I can neither verify nor discredit either. What I can say is that, in my opinion, he has stood the test of time for his offering. If this was a deliberate attempt to defraud someone here at the forum, he would have realized that the people here are skeptical at a minimum and highly knowledgeable to boot. If he didn't believe what he was saying was accurate, he would have skated long before he made as many posts defending his position as he has. A scammer has many opportunities to scam. If he sees one isn't working, he'll move on to the next. Time spent with people in the know is time wasted to a con-man.
Like I said, I don't know if the stuff is real or not. I do think that he honestly believes he has what he says he has. That, in the end, is what counts towards his credibility.
