ERA 6 pin PS Engineering 17" Wheels
The title pretty much says it all...
I have a set of 4 PS Engineering Wheels made for an ERA with 6 pin hubs. They are fully polished!!
The RE-17 tires have only about 350 miles (no burnouts) on them. The look brand new. I mainly used the 15" wheels when I had the car.
The tires sizes are 335/35/17 and 275/40/17
New: over $3200 ($1800 wheels, $400 polishing, $1000 tires and mounting)
For sale: $2530
Thanks!

Just curious, were the 15" wheels/tires that much worse than the newer 17" set up?

I don't know that I fully understand the question.
I originally had the 17" wheels before I bought the ERA. I had ordered them directly from PS Engineering because I liked the look of the 17" better than the 15".
I ended up with two sets because I forgot to cancel the order for the 15" wheels and ERA painted them to match the stripes (white). Well, I didn't want to cause a hassle by asking them to take them back after they were painted, so I just bought them.
I ended up liking the look of the painted 15" wheels soo much, that I left them on and hardly used the 17".
There is nothing wrong with either the 15" or 17". Just a matter of preference. The only difference (besides looks) is the 17" lets you feel the road better.
Hope that answers your questions... If not, give me call at 214-213-0891 anytime!

Thanks James. I was looking for an apples to apples comparison. Same car, same set-up same driver, only difference is 15" vs 17" wheels. I know that there are better performance tires available in the 17" size. I just wondered if the increase in perf/handling was as great in real life as opposed to on paper. I agree that the 15" look much cooler.

15" slightly softer ride (not much)
17" Better traction when warm (2" more rubber to the ground)
Better handling

drflex,
There are no adapters for these wheels. They mount directly to the 6 pin hubs. Spinners are not included.
The tires are 335 in back and 270 in the front. Wheels are 8" wide in front and 11" in back.
I don 't know the exact backspacing but I think it is 3.5" but I recommend you call ERA or PS to be sure.
Thanks for your interest!
