Exclamation WANTED- Edelbrock(Ultra) 454 wheels

I'm looking for 16"-17"x10"-11" wide wheels made by Ultra wheels for Edelbrock. I guess they don't make them anymore ?
Any questions, please ask.
Thank you,
Kevin

Default Edelbrock 454's

I spent a lot of time and a lot of phone calls looking for the 454's in the machine finish and no such luck. The wheels are made by Ultra, a CA company and when I called them directly they said thay had stopped making them. I was able to locate 15" 454's in chrome finish, but they looked gaudy and didn't have the look I wanted.

The 454's, pricewise, are a bargain; but I decided to spend the money and go with the Team III's from Finish Line in FL. With spinners, lugs nuts, valve stems & caps, cost about $1465.00.

Glad I went that way; they look real sharp.

Really ! I have not seen them in person, only on their web. site. Maybe that's not the way to go. I just tyring to find something different. If, I could fit a 15x10 Torque thrust"D" in the rear, I would be a happy camper. I would have to notch the frame rail so the front of the tire wouldn't hit it. I have a 15x8 now.
Thanks,
Kev

Kevin;
Check out Vintage Wheel Works' web site if you like the Torque Thrust D's and want a 17" wheel. I have a deposit down on a Unique 427 S/C and I've pretty much decided to go that way myself to increase my tire selection.

Bill, they look great & have the sizes I may want but, I would have to buy all four because I'm sure the two brands differ in looks ? I may think about selling mine & putting that money towards Vintages ? Have you seen theirs in person ? Just wondering about the finish & if the outer edge is polished ?
