427 marine engine for sale
It is a complete marine engine. It was running when I bought it, but I can’t confirm how well, but it is not stuck and I would assume it is standard bore. Since it is a marine engine, it is basically a short block with all the little hard to find parts (rocker assemblies, push rods, oil drip rails, valley pan, cam retainer etc.) included. It also has an as new flywheel, harmonic balancer, and balancer spacer. Heads are low flow truck, intake is iron, oil pan is iron. These would all need replacement. The ID tag says it was manufactured in ’69. It is a side oiler casting, drilled as center oiler. There is no block casting number. It has been drilled for hydraulic lifters, but has factory plugs for solid lifters. Basically a C8AE block. That’s all I know, I wanted to keep it together rather than stripping it down, but will do so to reduce shipping. It is standard rotation.
Please email any questions, or call 281 516 1085. Thanks, Dave
