1964 and 1966 LeMans on CD
In 1964 Ford went racing and much to the surprise of the Italians A Cobra driven by Dan Gurney ad Bob Bondurant finished 4th over all and first in class. And while Ferrari finished #1, #2, and #3 It was Phil Hill in a Ford GT (40) Prototype that ran the fastest lap at 3' 49.20 seconds over the 8.3 mile course settin a new lap record. Clearly things would never be the same.
In 1966 Ford Came to play. Fords swept LeMans #1, #2, and #3 in a dramatic side by side finish you need to hear to believe.
These are priceless gems you will love to hear over and over again. With commentary by such racing greats as Stirling Moss, Bruce Mclaren, Graham Hill, Chris Amon and Carroll Shelby.
These are taken from 40 year old "original" (not replica ) vinyl records and sound like it. The sound quality is good but you will hear the typical hiss and crackle as the record starts. (think of this as patina)
I have put both these records on a single CD and am offering them to club members for $15 and $3.85 shipping via Priority Mail.
