Cobra Oval Air Cleaner Natural Finish

Cobra oval air cleaner with cast aluminum base for single carb, natural finish. It looks great, but it did not clear my hood. I have it listed on Ebay with a starting bid of $48. I'll give the winning bidder $10 off of the total (Winning bid amount + actual UPS shipping) if he or she is a Club Cobra member .

I might bid on it. Do you think it would polish up on the fins?
Also, can you get me a measurement so I can make sure it fits my Superformance. Need bottom flange to top of cleaner lid and length of air cleaner

I think that it would polish up just fine, that's what I was going to do before I found out that it would not fit my car.

The dimensions are:

Height------2 5/8"
Length-----21 3/16"
Width-------10 1/16"

FYI- The reason that it does not fit my car it that I welded the motor mounts in a little higher than stock in an effort to keep the oil pan off of the speed bumps.....
