Default 428 scj

Hi there guys,

I've had this engine for some time now and I'm considering selling it, in order to afford to build a 427. It's complete except for carb, water pump, pulleys etc. What I need to know is what it's worth?
It's completely rebuilt and sweet.
It's a fresh '69 428 SCJ Longblock
Balanced/Blueprinted
Fresh heads
Comp 10.45/1
Bore .030
New surface flywheel
Rebuilt rocker shafts

I can also include an original ford sidewinder intake and "Cobra LeMans" valve covers. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers, hinds

Where are you located and what do hope to get out of the engine. I have learned a hard lesson or two and would insist on taking the pan off as well as intake and valve covers.

Hey there,

I'd actually had this engine built for me to install in a cobra. It is as new. I now have also a standard bore 427 sideoiler, in which I would like to have built instead. Needless to say that this is why I'm considering selling the 428 scj. I have all the paper work from the work done also. I'm just not sure what a realistic asking price would be for this engine. Any ideas??

thanks, hinds
