Carbon Fiber Seat....F/S!
I'm selling my Carbon Fiber Comp seat that I choose & modified for two reasons: 1) I'm 6'5' and wanted more leg room and this allowed my butt to sit darn near on the floor 2) I cut the rear roll-lip off the back so the seat may be mounted up against the back of the cockpit wall. The result, a tall man who can put his legs STRAIGHT out - what a dream in a COBRA. I've also removed the side thigh supports as it proved difficult to get in and out and I did not track the car and thus was not important. Also, before anyone asks, it is surprisingly comfortable, in fact 150 miles rides are not out of place with our local club.
I initially bought a Comp-R seat from Cobra restorers for about $280 but returned it right away when I found this one ready to bolt in. The seat itself is molded into a glass pan that then is bolted to the chassis. I sold my Cobra last week and put the Connelly leather seat back in it's original place. Please email with questions and thank you! Dimensions of seat below pictures.
