Cobra tonneau cover
Never used black tonneau cover. Was bought for EM Cobra, but never installed. Sale does not include hardware. Snaps on cover never installed (or holes cut). I'll try to upload a picture. The light or "faded" areas in picture is sunlight through the trees. The cover is not stained and is an even black color. Price $125.00 plus shipping.

TKing,
I'll take the tonneau if it's still available and if it was made for the standard 90" WB body. Let me know how you'd like to conduct the transaction.

Mike:
I sold my EM Cobra several years ago and forgot about this cover stored in the attic. It was designed for the EM427 body, so I don't know why it would not fit. If it does not fit, return it and I will refund your money (less shipping).
Tom
PS Payment method is your choice. Fastest is probably Paypal. You can pay them and I can ship it as soon as I recieve notice of payment. Include with your payment $20 for shipping and I will return any money if it costs less than $20 to ship. If it costs more than $20 to ship, I'll pay it

Tom,
I was concerned about the fit because EM also made a 96" WB body and the tonneau would be 6" too long for my car.
Also, is the cover made of vinyl or is it cloth? It looks to be vinyl in the picture. I would prefer the cloth material, but vinyl is okay too. Was the cover manufactured by EM or was it made by an independent vendor for your car?
BTW, I sent you an e-mail. The paypal option is fine, but you'll have to post a link to your paypal account or send me your mail address so I can mail the payment to you.

Tom,
The e-mail address in my profile was an old address that has since been disabled. The info you sent will not reach me. I apologize for not previously updating it, but I have now updated my profile and I'd appreciate it if you'd resend the info to my current mail address. Thx

Tom,
The e-mail thing doesn't seem to be working for us. Maybe we can do this via the private message route. Click on the PM icon below my post and type in the info.

Mike:
I sent a private message as you suggested. I also wanted to anwer your questions from a previous message.
The cover is the same length as the SPF tonneau cover, although the SPF cover is about 2" wider on the rear corners of each side. Hope this helps. The cover is vinyl. I bought the EM Cobra assembled and used, so I don't know if the cover is a EM production product.
I also wanted to ask you about your car. I also have rear exhaust. Did you have the headers custom made or did you buy them? The SPF headers are a small diameter and somewhat restricted. I would like to replace them.
Are your exhaust tips stainless and if so where did you buy them? I have found stainless exhaust tips but only in 3+ inch diameter. I want 2 1/2.
Thanks,
Tom

Tom,
I replied to your PM with my contact info. I'll send you an e-mail later today.
I installed out-of-the-box Sanderson ceramic coated 1 5/8" shorty headers on my SBC (but don't tell or the Cobra police will be after me....)
The rest of the system is custom made from 2.25" aluminized pipe run between the frame rails to Flowmaster mufflers and out the back through 3" chrome angle cut tips (not SS). I'd also like to change the tips to 2.5" straight cut SS (with rolled edges), but I'll have to do a search for them. I'm sure someone sells them.
Post a picture of your SPF, I'd like to see it.

Mike:
Thanks for the info. I'll relook the shorty headers, but I don't think they will clear the firewall or frame. I have flowmasters (dual chamber) , but the car is too quiet. I want to try some different headers, larger pipes or maybe I'll go to a single chamber flowmaster.

Tom,
Your car looks great.....I love the no-rollbar, no-hoodscoop, no-sidepipes street car look.....I conceded to the rollbar and hood scoop on my car for open track events.
Your tips look similar to mine and they look good, but I like the look of the smaller diameter straight cut rolled tips best.
The dual chamber Flomasters are very quiet at idle, but anything above idle is pretty loud and WOT is very loud on my car.
I don't understand why you think shorty headers won't fit in your engine bay. A friend of mine has a SPF with a 460 in it and his headers clear the foot boxes, frame, and firewall okay. My headers are actually blockhuggers and that may be what you should look for.
Btw, I sent you an e-mail, let me know if you don't receive it today.
