What is your price? I will be in Milwaukee the week of Aug 23, for a race at Road America maybe I could stop and take a look at your engine if I am still interested and it hasn't sold.

POWERED BY 427 FORD SIDE OILER
This is your chance to own a piece of history and build the car of your dreams. A 1966 ford 427 side oiler motor. This is a complete motor from oil pan to carburetor. Here are some of the incidentials: The block is standard bore with new cam, bearings, freeze plugs and the crank is forged steel, the rods are LeMons and the crank and rod bearings are from clevite. The complete rotating assembly has been balanced. The oil pan is a stock Ford pan made into an 8 quart pan with a Ford motor sport windage tray, high volume oil pump and a heavy duty chrome moly distributor shaft. I also have a dual remote oil filter mount that goes with it. The pistons are aluminum with Total Seal rings (hand filed). The compression is 12.5 to 1. The camshaft is a solid lifter from Competition Cams with a .630 lift @ 306 duration. The lifters are also new from Comp Cams. The timing chain is new from Cloyes and is a double roller unit. The valve springs are new from Comp Cams and are double springs with 10 degree stem locks. The retainers are new titanium from Crane. The heads are fresh medium riser 427 with standard Ford valves. The rocker arms are Harland Sharpe 1.76 with new shafts. The pushrods are chrome moly from Comp Cams. The vibration damper is new from Fluid Damper. The intake is a holly street dominator single plane with a Holly 850 double pumper completely rebuilt. The water pump is a new Flow Cooler unit, as is the thermostat and chrome housing. The bolts and hardware are from ARP to include all internal parts. All gaskets are Fel-Pro. There is no fuel pump due to the fact it was built with running an electric in mind. There is a Ford Motor Sport block-off palte instead. The distributor is a Mallory dual point that comes with a Unilite conversion kit still in the box and a Mallory coil. The plug wires are Accel 300+ racing wires still in the box. The valve covers are old school M/T with the Ford emblems on them that read 425 hp. I also have a set of factory Powered by Ford chrome valve covers that go with it. The starter is a new mini torque from Power Master still in the box. I also have the complete new March pully set. The engine was assembled back in 1997 and has been on the engine stand since then. I turn it over every other month and spray WD40 in the cylinders. As you can see I spared no expense, for most of the parts listed here are new, and I have the receipts for all. Included are the following items: A complete Ford dual quad set-up with carbs, intake, fuel log and oval air cleaner and linkage. I also have a 3x2 manifold (intake only) and a complete Top Loader 4 speed trans with a new Lakewood bellhousing and new Ram pressure plate and clutch with throw-out bearing and Hurst shifter with T-handle with 4-speed pattern on it.
Delivery can be made up to 300 miles of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Shipping is at the owners expense if so desired.

My apologies to this fellow for unwarranted "not-nice" comments. Best wishes!
