Shelby Valve covers question
What would ya'll say a pair of Shelby (original) valve covers were worth? Has an original casting number.

Small block or big block? Original were cast by Buddy Barr (may not be spelled right). I have seen them go on ebay and auto jumbles for 150 to 350 per pair. Depends on the shape of them

What style are you looking for? The finned cobra 427, pentroof, 428 CJ covers? Branda is taking orders for 428 cobrajet valve covers with the snake on them he's having cast. Around $240 pr.

Check the pair on ebay that is going for $2,000.00.
Some people live in a dreamland. Listen to FFR428. You can buy new ones that are better (better casting technology) and save your money for horsepower. Just my 2 1/2 cents Mark |
