Tremec TKO II for sale
I have a brand new TKO II in the box and never used for sale. After thinking about it, I am going to purchase a toploader and want to sell this one first.
I am asking $1450. Anybody interested please feel free to give me a holler. Thanks.

Mike,
I would hang on to it, after driving your car on CA freeways you will wish you had the 5th gear.

Your right Allan.
For originality purposes the toploader is the way to go no doubt. I need to figure how much time realistically, will I be spending in the car...
Any if the freeways are something I will be speeding on, may be the TKO 600 is an all around better option for the gearing ratios.

I have been very happy with the tKO II in the 427 and 289 cars. Around here 70 mph is the slow lane.

Allan,
I have to ask you how you like your transition from 1st to 2nd. I know it is purely subjective, but I would like to have your opinion.
I hope to be going for a ride with Pete Monroe in his 289 with a 3.54 rear end and the tkoII shortly.
I am really curious, considering I am getting the parts together now for delivery of #325 next month.
All of the folks at the tri-county lunch two weeks ago were extremely helpful and quite patient with my tiresome if not silly questions.

Yes it is a little short in first, but I am not a drag racer and the 427 has enough for second gear starts. The 289 has the 3:73 and for some reason does not feel as bad. I like the 5th more than the short 1st I guess.

Allan,
I understand what you mean and need to way the pros and cons to the tko II.
By the way, where are you located in Ca? Are you in the LA area?
Mike,
No, it is not a 600.
