snake Iyze: a few people know as of tonight...they've contacted me directly - I'll keep it that way. If interested call or email.

GS aka "rev trouble" - a decimal point can make all the difference

Excaliber - your catching on

Marco - how'd ya know? I do like the Clevelands

Maybe I'll be the lucky one and GS will be the high bidder.

Randy,

You left out one digit to the right of the "2" and anywhere else left of the ".".

But on the outside chance the Cracker is feeling charitable, I'll raise it to $7500.

Bomelia - I thought I was already generous with you. You are however, should we say, on the money.

Craig - I just checked the dyno site and it immediately accepted the username as "guest" and password as "speed". Try again as it just worked for me and I've also heard from others who have been successful. Sorry.

Thumbs down With all due respect.....

Why the hell would any professional announce they want to sell a motor; provide basic engine build configuration, component selection and a litany of additional marketing buildup; and then not tell what the price is for their motor??? I presume it means they want to play pricing games. I have seen this in some other posts and never understood the mentality. It gets to be more annoying than impressive. At least when you have a price, a serious buyer knows whether it makes sense too pursue. IMHO.

What was "Jamo" saying the other day about posts, "I have a dream..." - it never ends.

Burnt - It's an email away but since you pointed out the obvious and you contradict your very own "tag" line... Price is $99,999.99 -there, it's in the open.

I apologize to all the "curious" members but now ya know. However, a couple "serious" prospects last night didn't mind sending an email - fortunately for me, this is NOT a novel approach when dealing with "for sale" items. BTW, no pricing games - one simple price, guaranteed!

Tony,
If you don't want the games. Don't post it here. If you know who the serious players are, let them know privately. You wave a pizza around in the middle of a weight watchers convention and then you complain when a group of fat people pounce on you.

Really....What did you expect?

Brent,

I'm little surprised at your response. First, I never said I knew who the players were (as you said) - I simply said I had a couple people follow instructions - as they did when you posted your car for sale without a price (this is what really surprised me about your post). Oh well, have a great thanksgiving everyone - friend and foe alike. BTW, I never mentioned anyone's weight either.

One more little thing - I didn't complain and still am not - peace be with you all.

I guess I took it wrong. The story of my life!

Best of luck,

Cracker:
In retrospect, I'm sorry for my lousy presentation style. It was more of a response by a "serious" but "frustrated" Cobra owner shopping for a new motor, since winter is here and now is the time we Northeast Coast fools run that obstacle course. However, my post was ment to be more of a criticism of an annoying "for sale posting practice" as opposed to a criticizm of you personally. Your post just happened to be the catalyst after seeing a few others that turned out to be mouse mazes. When buyers scout the net, search the classifieds, shovel through the details, get caught up in the build sheet and finally get to the end of the ad; most people want the bottom-line without feeling like we have to go grovelling to get it. It's frankly a little more practical to know upfront if it's "in our league" before we start making inquiries. Save's us both time and sometimes egos. Unfortunately, for a 100 grand I can build 3 motors pushing that HP to suit my race needs using Dart Blocks and not even think about spinning them. That's obviously an exceptional motor you have but it's appeal will be to a nitch market with deep pockets and different priorities. I'm sure someone will be thrilled. BTW: Regarding my tag line; please don't confuse constructive criticism with pompous arrogance. I didn't really mean to offend YOU and again "I apoligize". Good luck peddling your motor.

Bernie

I know you live in GA, are you drink georgia moon? I hope you gets some HELP before Thanksgiving. You like Cleveland? I guess that Billy Glidden and father are on your next hit list. These 2 are the best. Have a nice holiday and get some help Rick Lake

Default Ooops...... just clicked.

Why am I getting this nagging feeling that I am on the outside of an inside prankster.............and now I suppose if I contact KCR directly on a purchase inquiry, the price drops into the $20k to $25k range, (and thats a stretch). Make a fool of me once, shame on you. Make a fool of me twice; shame on me. Cute. I'll have a new motor printed and installed by spring, ....... but it won't be this one or from any builder related to it. Sirico Speed Center in NJ and Performance Engineering, OH are two shops I've spoken with in the last week about a serious build without the games. I'll regress to my original post and the flag that went up with it. Business must be good.
