Thumbs up C6ME-A "A" code 428 Block std bore 4.13

I have a 1966 428 "A" code 4.130 standard bore block for sale. It has been hot tanked, shot peened, pressure and mag tested. No damage, stripped threads etc. It will stay standard bore. I will post photos in my galley as soon as it gets back from the machine shop.

The A code engines were used most often in T birds and Galaxies but it's early enough to have been an early CJ its production date is 6H8 It will make a great Cobra engine or a matching numbers GT-500 clone.

I will put it on a pallet and drop it at a freight yard for no cost to club members or pick it up in sunny california $750.

Visa cheerfully accepted through Paypal if you are willing to pay the fees. (3-3.5% est) You can pay for shipping via paypal as well.

Well Mike it's a really nice block. Good price also for std bore as well. Just the fact you spent the extra money to check it all out is worth the investment for someone. Not to mention the peace of mind. That and it can stay std bore is a plus. Heck all the 428 blocks are good and sturdy. I think people get hung up on the CJ thing. Even with the std crankwebbing it's plenty strong and will make a really nice base for someone to start with. $750 is a deal for a 428 std bore checked block these days. Good luck and hope it finds a happy home. G.
