I have a NEW CR Custom Dash and Cover kit (black) that I no longer need. I'd like to get $100 plus shipping. Jim: barnett_jc@yahoo.com

Sorry to read about the loss of your car Jim . We in NY believe Californians can be a little nuts and your DMV peopel prove us right.
Is the dash the half dash or the center console that goes to the floor?

Jim, we're all sorry about your loss, but don't start disposing all your parts just yet. My local Cobra club, mostly FFR's, calls my CR a Cadillac of Cobras. Be patient, and we'll find you another one.
If it were me, I'd put AZ or NV tags on it and drive it. Once in awhile it would cost me a ticket for failing to register my car within 30 days. Cost of doing business.

Jim... Sorry for the loss, but if you're still interested in selling the dash I'd like to buy it from you.

THANKS, guys!!! The dash and cover kit has been SOLD. Just lament the fact that I didn't get to use it myself!!!
PS: I'd personally like to THANK each AND EVERY ONE of you fine gentlemen who have sent me condolence messages over my loss. I am ON A QUEST to get me another Cobra replica. My wife HAS CONSENTED to my selling my '69 Hemi Bee and as soon as I get it all spiffied up and back on the street, I'll be selling it to raise the money for another cobra (one WITH an SB100 Number!!). I MAY even offer to trade for a Kirkham or other manufacturer plus cash. MANY thanks to all of you!!!

Jim, you should talk to southernfriedcj, he has a Kirkham FIA he wants to get rid of, and he is into the mopar stuff.

CowtownCobra: thanks for the tip on the Kirkham! I'd prefer something already completed OR something that at least has an SB100 Number! I really don't want to suffer through another "loss" like I did a couple of weeks ago. I'd LOVE to buy Tony Ripepi's Unique 427 RIGHT NOW, BUT I haven't sold my Hemi Bee yet and that'll take a month or two, depending on how long it takes me to get it up and running right (it runs, but since it's been sitting under cover in my garage for the last 6 years, my buddy and I replaced the gas tank last July and even though the car starts up, it won't idle worth a dang - and I had the carbs rebuilt, BUT that was about 4 years ago and they've just been sitting aroung in a box - we think it still has some fuel supply problems to work out!). My Bee IS AN ORIGINAL 1 of 92 4 spd Hemi Bees built in '69, BUT it doesn't have the original motor (or trans... I need to check the trans numbers) since we think it was used as a drag car in it's earlier years (could account for the fantastic shape the body and interior is in). I figure when I sell it, I'll auction it off on Ebay with an appropriate "Reserve Price" in the $75 - 80K range. That should give me enough money to get a NICE BB Cobra replica WITH an SB100 Number (IF I don't wait until Jan 2, 2006 and try to get my own and just build a nice 427 SC Kirkham ) Again, THANKS for the info. I kinda knew about southernfriedcj's Kirkham, but since it was not a completed car or an 427 S/C, I wasn't all that interested in it. NOW, IF I had an SB100 Number in hand, that would be different.
Jim
