Default SAAC trophy for sale

Genuine SAAC car show trophy for sale to highest bidder. Ok it's only for 2nd place which means you are the first loser but heck it's a SAAC trophy and some guys are fighting to get these.

Ok, I bid you pay me $3.95 to take it off your hands. Plus, you have to deliver.

Default SAAC Trophy

How embarrassing - a Racer with a Waxer's trophy!

I don't think I'd be interested until AFTER it's been POLISHED (Johhny Mac, where are you?) - I hear that's a LOT of work, but almost certain to make it faster (lighter weight w/o paint, less drag with a carefully polished surface)

P.S. - if you get a good price for it, let me know, I have a trophy room just chock FULL of these things.

regards,

cobrajeff

Intersting that SAAC would issue an award to a cobra "kit car." Wasn't Shelby refusing to acknowledge cobra "kit cars"?

I would buy it, but it has visible smudges and finger prints. It obvioulsy has not been waxed and polished enough- that probably explains why the car only got 2nd place

Cranky was THE original waxer, back in his day, he was known to win some trophys at shows...His motto was "Whatever it Takes to Win Bay-Bee!!!".

Here is a picture of Roger as a young man when he was growing up in Cuba...he put his heart and soul into this vintage Ford....he loved to drive very fast down the boulevard yelling " ĦMis pelotas son tan hinchadas, tengo hambre para un toque de mujeres, por favor me ayudo!

After winning numerous car shoes in Cuba, he moved to the mainland to conquer an many gringoes as he could. But he tired of the shows quickly...American shows were rigged and his car was broken. He put away his Carnuba and polishing rages for good.

He wanted to ry something else, he was drinking alot by this time and it showed in his chioces.

First he joined the Al Azhar Shriners in Synchronized Airplane Aerobatics for parades....

But he still wasn't happy...

Drinking even more, he continued with the Shriners, he tried the parade airplane shows

....but the smell of the Carnuba haunted him. It made him physically ill, he had to stop.....find something different...but everywhere he turned, were reminders....

...out of work, broke and alcoholic, one day he found hope in the form of a job cleaning Port O Johns.....

This job found him at an unlikely place cleaning toilets....the local race track. It was at the track that he had an epiphany...that this is something he would like to try.

He quickly went home, quit drinking and cobbled together his first race car.....

the three wheels made sense to him at the time, he could lean into the turns. Of course, the car crashed on the very first lap, but the die had been cast!!!!!

....and the rest my friends, is Crankoid history.....

You probably had to pay someone to stuff the ballot box to win that thing.
