Perry,

I would like to buy your Trigo 5 pin 7.5x15 wheel for $150. I dented my right front wheel on my Superformance 427 Mk III roadster. It is SPO 1694 built in fall 2003. Could you verify your wheel looks exactly like the wheels shown at superformance.com? I want to be sure I'm buying the right wheel. I will pay for shipping. Please give me a call at 773-545-6115 or email at b.a.swenson@att.net so we can work out the details. Thanks!

Perry,

I sent you the money order for the Trigo wheel Monday, July 25 so you should get it by the end of the week. Thanks.

BillSwenson: I'd be interested in purchasing your dented wheel from your SPF once the new wheel arrives to you from 427 S/O. Please either post here or email me (drewporta@lycos.com) if you are interested in selling the damaged wheel.

Thanks,
Drew

Drew,

I might sell you the dented wheel, as I don't need it. The inside edge is flattened about 1/2 inch and I have been driving on it for a month, so its not too serious or even visible outside the car. After the new wheel is installed, I will find out about getting the dent straightened for you, too.

Bill,

Thanks for the update. While Yetiman has a nifty idea, that's not my intended use for the wheel. I actually prefer the thought of having a spare wheel/tire around the house...thanks for offering to straighten it out. Presume it holds air?

Drew,

When the tire company saw the bent wheel rim, they said they could straighten it for $5. But when the tire was removed, there was a 2 inch tear completely through the rim. I asked if a repair weld could be done, and they said "Basura" meaning they thought the wheel was now garbage. Keep in mind they want to sell new wheels, not fix old ones. As it is, the wheel holds air perfectly since the tear is below the tire bead. Do you want me to post a picture of the wheel so you can evaluate it?

Bill,

Could you send me a pic and your asking price on the wheel?

Thanks,
Drew
