Default Autolite Mustang 600cfm carb

Just took it off my 65 Mustang 289. Worked fine. Can't find a number on it. Maybe worth something to someone restoring a Mustang. Will sit on the shelf. Open to offers. Thanks-Chip

They are good carbs, but a small correction, they were never any bigger than about 465CFM. That's one of the reasons they were always changed out.Holley made a 4010 a few years ago that was an updated model of that carb, it came in 750 CFM and maybe one bigger, they're unfortunately no longer made.

No problem! That is prob why everyone is changing out to Edelbrocks. Was at a local car show last night: Edelbrock ruled! Thanks for the info. Already got one "hit" on it . cb

Wood428, there are two versions of the Autolite 4100 carb. The first is the 465CFM and the other is a 600CFM. The latter looks the same with slightly larger butterflies and venturies...and they are hard to find. I don't have my book with me otherwise I would give you casting and air horn numbers for the two differing carbs.
