Bob,

FYI
Called trigo, set of wheels are @ $1700 plus shipping. Hubs new are now only $500 shipping with the studs since set of wheels are $1200. Remember these adapters only work for Trigo and not Vintage who's wheels are less costly in a set.

Guess I will go new.......Thanks Best of luck!

In an attempt to sell my parts at the most attractive price I have reduced the cost of the Trigo adapters because of Trigo's cost reduction.

As edited above the (4) adapters, (4) knock-offs and (4) caps minus the pins that are available in three sizes, are now offered at $300.

Thanks for your interest.

I'll take the adaptors if you are willing to package and ship them. My ZIP code is 95688 (california) Let me know what I owe you with shipping and how you prefer to be paid. PayPal?

Cobra 65 sold these to someone else after I committed to buying them. It happens I guess. Buyer beware.

Mike it is beyond my comprehension why you are doing this. I remind you all you did was PM me with questions. You did not commit yourself to the sale. It is not my intention to slight you but you appear to have difficulty comprehending this. While we were PM’ing each other another interested party telephoned me and fully committed to the sale.

I’ve enjoyed a decent reputation in the Cobra community a couple of years longer than you. You should have called me or taken this off line because I did inform you while you were PM’ing questions to me that the adapters were sold.

Michael, I was PM'ing him "WAY" before you and he clearly told me they were still for sale until I "committed". He was up front and honest about it so I have to agree with him on how you wronged him. I think you owe him an apology.....just my 2 cents worth.........................

I understand your feeling Earl. I'll assume you didn't see my commitment before you called him back. If you did well, then you did, only you know for sure. "WAY" before? Really? What's there to think about? These things are worth $400-500 easy... For the record I know Bob knew what shipping was to a location in Florida. Hopefully that was you. Enjoy your adaptors.

I didn't mean to imply Bob was dishonest. If I did I'm sorry.

This site works on trust. It works best when your intentions are clear. If you see something you need say so. If you are "thinking about it" say that too. This isn't e-bay we don't snipe each other here. If you had posted your interest my reply would have been, "if Earl doesn't want them I will buy them if you are willing to ship them".

You'll need to excuse me. It's lunch time. I need to go cash a money order I waited in line at the post office for 45 min yesterday to get. $341.

You know Mike even though you said in the above post “I'll take the adaptors if you are willing to package and ship them.” Several private messages and almost four hours later you were not ready to send a check even though I notified you in the first PM what it would cost for shipping. You did not mention your agreement with payment at all.

Publicly on the forum you posted that you wanted the adapters when in truth you continued to PM me with questions for over four hours with no mention of sending compensation for the goods. To me you appeared in doubt as to whether or not you really wanted them.

Telling someone you want something and telling someone you want something and are sending them compensation for what it is you want are two completely different stories in my book.

Sorry you felt like you were wronged Mike. I still say good luck to you.
