Default Ford 9" Rear Disc Brakes

OK Guys....as you may be aware, I am moving to a 5 speed trans. So, I need to do a little house cleaning.

What I have here are 1979 Lincoln Rear Disc Brakes that fit a Ford 9" rear axle, 2 3/8" or 2" bolt centers.

Look at the photos, you will see the bearing retainer has been milled for both axle flange patterns. Additionally, the caliper anchors have been milled for 11" rotors, also included.

The photos show on side, I will be sending BOTH sides. The lucky person will most likely want to do cleanup on the paint, but the system is in very good condition. Note: The parking brake arms are intact and work.

I have $800 into this complete system. Someone make me a reasonable offer.

Hi Trularin, a little off topic, but how did you modify the caliper anchors to accept larger rotors. I can't picture that in mind. Cool modification

trularin,
Will this setup fit or work on any 9 in. rear axle, if it will I would be interested.
How much do you want for it?

They will fit the 2" and 2 3/8" bolt setups. notice the dual milled patterns.

I didn't increase the anchor, I milled them .125 to lower them .250 so I could use the standard 15" wheels I wanted to use. These came with 11.250 rotors, I engineered them for most nine inch rear ends and 11" rotors.

Please feel free to make me an offer on the system. I will send everthing but the parking brake brackets ( unless I find them between now and when the system is shipped ). All the bolts, washers, retainers, calipers, pads ( used but have almost all the pad is left ), clips and anything else that you would need to make this work.

You will need your Tee bolts with nuts ( should use the same ones on your 9 inch rear ), new seals, maybe a dust bracket spacer and maybe parking brake brackets ( I will look for the ones I have ).

You can PM me or email me.

Thanks for the interest. I ordered a new trans, I will need to be cleaning out all of the built parts.
