I originally built my Cobra with a 3.27:1 rear end and found it was too high geared. I assume you are probably running a T-5 or Tremic in which case you may want to consider at least 3.50 : 1
gears. I switched to 3.73 : 1 rear end and it made a tremendous difference in the performance. Just taking off from a stop light became much easier and my overall performance improved as well.
Just some thoughts if you are going to spend the money. Do a search in this section for a chart that Jeff Frigo provided me within the last two weeks. His chart will allow you to put in your transmission, rear gears and calculate the speed at various RPM's.
