Mike,

I've sent you several e-mails and haven't heard back from you reagrding seat tracks and carpeting. I must have a wrong address or something because you are always really great about responding. Maybe you can contact me at hdheritage97@yahoo.com. I really need to figure out what I'm going to do with my interior, driving season is upon us....lol. I hope all is well and I look forward to hearing from you.

Cliff

Cliff,

Sorry I didn't get right back with you I have been back and forth to Detroit the last few weeks with little time for anything else. Last weekend was the VARA race at Phx. and we had 7 cars out which killed that weekend as well.

I will get on the tracks this week.

Thanks,

Mike

Well, after putting up with the seats in my FFR for 12K miles Idecided it was time for something more comfortable.

ST was kind enough to let me sit in his ERA at SAAC a few weeks back. very nice. Talking with SpecialK about original seats in general and Mike Kinney in particular I made my decision.

I then waffled at the price but MrsMikiec said you will buy them.

I called Mike Kinney and had a set of seats made. The first one is in the pass side. Tight fit but worth it. These seats are worth everypenny if you are staying with the original style seat. I'll get the drivers side in this weekend.

Thanks, Mike Kinney.

Gonna try this one more time....lol....I am still in need of info on those seat tracks. Actualy, I guess I only need one set for the drivers side. I don't think it's an issue for the other to be direct mounted through the floor. I also need an authentic shifter handle that can be mounted to a Hurst shifter, as well as a correct knob and boot. Other than that, the only thing left on my wish list is carpeting. Please get back to me on this stuff, and if you don't have it, please let me know. I really want to complete this thing ASAP.....lol.

Cliff,

I had Mike cut down the cushion on my seats to makeup for the height of the seat tracks. No decrease in comfort.

These seats are great.

For all those wanting original seats I highly recommend Mike Kenney's seats.

Mike

Question Mike at NOS

Hey,

Is the 1099.00 leather seat special price still good for Club Cobra members??

What kind of lead time for the seats??

Do you take plastic???

Have you ever seen a chrome shifter ring for the Cobra with the FORD logo stamped into it ???

Let me know.

Thanks and cheers,
Bill Cook

Bill,

Yes CC members price for seat is 1099.00.
We do take plastic and we can ship today.
I have not seen the shifter bezel with Ford in it though.

If you want a set sent out, e-mail Barb :

bbnos@att.net

Thanks for the interest,

Mike
