Wheels wanted
I'm looking for some Team3 or Halibrand look-a-like wheels for a Classic Roadster.....Ford 5x4.5 15"x8-9" 4-5" backspace and 15"x9.5-11" 5-6"backspace.
Anything out there? If so please email me at fxbill@attbi.com
Thanks,
Bill

Good call on getting the "right" style of wheels! My hats off to you for keeping the faith.

It hasn't ben without mistakes. I tried a set of Cobra R wheels and 17" tires......thought they'd look good. They're OK I guess, but not for me. I'm Ebaying them this weekend. $1600 worth, 32 miles on a new set of Kumho 275/40R 17s and I'll probably lose $600-$700 on the set..... Expensive mistake!lol

I have a new set of 15" Team III's but I have to go check the bolt patterns and back spacing. Two are 8" and two are 10". Asking $1000. Let me know if you are interested.

Yes....interested if the backspacing is correct. I've been looking at some Compomotives that another generous member has offered, but I don't think the backspacing will work.
Please email me at fxbill@attbi.com
Thanks,
Bill

Hi, Bill. I have jusr replaced my Compomotive wheels (15") with Trigo wheels. They still have the nearly-worn-out Goodyear ST VR radial tires on them. I will take the backspacing measurements on them this weekend. Let me know if you are interested.

You may want to look at Edelbrocks 427 rims
Check out the web page-- go to wheels.
Just a thought--

The wheel link on the Edelbrock site is dead....the only other sites I've found with Edelbrock wheels do not list a 427 wheel....they list a 454 and a few others....The 454 looks a bit like a Compomotive or maybe a GT40 style wheel, but that's all I can find. I think I'd prefer to stay with Comps, PS Engineering or Team 3....
Thanks for the suggestion though.
Regards,
Bill
