aluminum bellhousings can be a problem
Please take into account that your feet or ankles are probably in the plane of rotation of the flywheel/clutch.
Should it come apart, you stand a very good chance of loosing your feet.
We have aluminum 427 bellhousings on the shelf, and refuse to sell them. You can order a scattershield for $300 from Jegs. That's what we do for ourselves and what we recommend to all our customers (and anyone else who will listen!)
Good luck.
