Chevy side emblems
I am looking for 427 side emblems that have crossed Chevy flags on them. Everett-Morrison used to carry these a few years ago, but an email to them revealed that they don't have these anymore. Does anyone have a pair of these they want to sell, or know where to buy them new?

Didn't they originally come on Corvettes? You might check Mid America in Effingham,Il., they are a big 'vette parts supplier.

Thanks for the response guys. I believe that these "Chevy" side emblems that EM used were very similar in shape and style to the standard rectangular red, white, and blue, 427 Ford Cobra side emblems, except that they had small crossed Chevy flags instead of saying FORD. Anyway I may need to come up with something creative if I can't find any, or they arn't what I think they are. Can anybody with an EM car and Chevy side emblems verify or prove false my claim?
Thanks
Roy

Cobras blazenly bestowing their bastard!y heratage have been known to have been tarred and feathered, or drawn and quartered in the town square.
If restoring a Corvette, Camaro, Chevelle, etc., by all means put your 427 Turbo-Jet cross flags emblems on the car.
On a Cobra, if you insist on dropping a Chebby engine in it, then leave the emblem area above the side louvers unoccupied, and never open your hood in public. It's for your own good and safety.

Is1ac: I'll bet you get some flack at the Cobra gatherings with the "Bow Tie" on there! Say......where did you get your roller skates for the car? Did you make them yourself? The one's I've seen aren't wide enough for the rear tires.

Saw you on this Thread and thought would add.
Sorry could not catch up when in San Diego. The fires put an end to a few good day plans.
Not to worry had an excellent time in the States at the Run N Gun etc. and will catch up next visit.
Will do the Shelby visit also then.
Again the fires closed the highways and made air travel during those few days difficult.
Cheers
Bernie

Those emblems should really add value and resale to the car! Thinks about hub caps and an automatic transmission also.

Jack 21's idea......
Probably good for everyone's ego, getting beat by another (unknown) Ford doesn't hurt so much I hear! ;o) S
