Contemporary Hardtop Wanted
My neighbor is looking for a hardtop for his Contemporary 427. Anybody know if a hardtop from any of the other brands (like Unique, SPF, or E-M) might fit the Contemorary body?
Please e-mail to: cobrajeff if you know of one for sale, or have any knowledge about any other hardtop makes that may fit a Contemporary. Thanks.

hardtop
jeff,
The New England company cobrahardtops.com made a top that fit the Contemporary "like a glove" was the quote. They were shown on the ERA site for a long time, but site now fails.
Someone is bound to have the contact info for that company.

Found a hardtop
Thanks for the replies, guys.
That alloy T-Roof top is quite impressive!
We found an E-M top on e-bay, and picked it up. The fit is not perfect, but with a little 'glass work, it should do.
This top had no back glass - anyone have any good suggestions for an easy-to-find rear window glass that can be adapted? The top has a wrap-around opening - we are planning to fill that around the sides, and use a smaller style rear window.
Jeff

Thanks Jeff,
Unfortunately the cobra has been sold, we were offfered a lot of money that we couldn't refuse, however good luck with your roof, we used plastic glass, sealed with stainless steel allum key bolts, so they can be removed and the 'glass' replaced easily. With the rain we get over here, you need a very good roof. The car was driven everyday to work for 2 years, the 427 never missed a beat, and we kept dty.
We are looking at another Cobra Project with a 'Tip up' front and back for easy access to the engine, I will submit pictures when it gets going.
Best Regards
Adam
