roll bar ?
Howdy,
I am building or having bars bent for my car. Using DOM seamless .120 wall tube that is 2 inch. I can send you the hoop including the down bar and long enough to trim to needed height. This does not include specific mounting . If this is any help please let me know.

Hey Tom......kinda off topic, but you got a great looking car. When I'm in Louisville from time to time, I drop by E-Town and visit Tim Kennedy (misfit41).....maybe we could all arrange to meet sometime....
You have the undercar exhaust right? You don't have a picture of your headers do you? Are they the same headers that SPF uses for the sidepipe cars?

Jeff:
Thanks for the offer, but I don't have enough confidence in my ability to cut holes in a perfectly good body (and paint) and not be certain what I bought will fit. I'm pretty good at replacing parts, but I'm poor a fabrication.

blykins? Brent?
I'll try to upload some pictures of the headers. I haven't seen other SPF cars in a long time to make a comparison, but I believe the headers are different. Actully the headers. pipe, mufflers, and tips are all welded together. The header pipe looks like 1 3/4" diameter. I'm the second owner of the car. The original owner had the car checked on a dyno and was told the headers significantly limit the engine power. I have been looking for something better, but cannot find anything without it being custom built. Too much money.
My car is not a show car, but please let me know when you're in town. I always like to compare cars. Maybe you can give me some advice and maybe I can help you.
I cannot get the pictures small enough to upload. Give me your email address and I will send them to you.

Tom,
I do understand your trepidation. The roll bar is atandard size or radious but does require either fabrication or pieces from their install kit.
I have found the new laser levels with the crosshair pattern a HUGE help for things like this. Drill a 1/8 hole and shoot through it to align on frame etc... I consider it a must have tool for your box as it has so many uses. The red lines painted on any surface is easy to see and perfectly straight.
Enjoy your toy and thanks for reply.
