ETFreak:
I may be selling the motor out of my Superformance (it was named "Son of Moose" by the build team). It's a 351W stroker to a 418cid giving about 525hp and 565lbs tq.
I gotten my Cobra up to 165mph on the track in 5th at about 4800rpm... Aint no way a friggin Honda will ever even get close to you.
Let me know and we'll talk. I'm in Burbank, Ca
Peace,

Spike
Thanks for the note. What do you want for the engine complete?
Has it been run? Who did the machine work and assembly?
What is the compression ratio? What are the casting #s on the heads or are they aftermarket? What is the lift of the cam? Etc....
Thanks!
Dave

The block is a 69 351 w that was engineered by both personnel from Clements Automotive Racing Engines and Fulton Competition in Spartanburg,S.C. stroked to 427 cu. in. Engine parts were purchased form Doug Herbert performance in Cherryville,N.C. and Coast high performance in Ca. It is designed for the highways with 850 on top netting 521 HP at 5,500 RPM and 530 # of torque at 4,400 RPM. The engine has not been put togerther. Have invoices. Make offer.

I've got a 351w, a D4 block, .060 over professionally rebuilt with new pistons (9:1 CR), Comp cam, Crane roller rockers, heavy duty springs, Edelbrock performer intake (powder coated), new hi volume oil pump, new balancer, timing set, ARP fasteners throughout. Heads are stock but completely redone.
$1500 + shipping and it's yours.

Cheapsnake,
Thanks for the reply. I need everything for a 351W. Does yours come with distributor, flex plate, water pump, etc.....
Is .060 the limit of the block? or can you bore them again? are the pistons forged or cast? What is the grind on the cam.
Who built the engine? Sounds like a good deal. Any Idea what shipping would cost?
Thanks,
