make sure you can get an adaptor for the motolita before you go that way. It is always possible to have an adaptor fabricated but the Motolita, Momo and OEM Cobra wheel are all on different bolt patterns.

On the backside of my steering wheel is a Moto Lita stamp.
My hope is that a Moto lita wood steering wheel will bolt right on.
Anybody out there know for sure and want to trade ?

Remod,
I have both wheels and use the leather wheel much more than the wood wheel. If you are going to a car show or such, I switch to the wood wheel but for everyday driving the leather wheel is much more comfortable in addition to having much more "grip". The wood wheel gets very slippery when you sweat a little.
You can call Dynamic in Ross and order the wood wheel and have both. Cost is around $125 if I recall.
Good luck.

Good advice...
Are you using a quick release of any sort, or chucking up a hex in a drill ? Seems laborious to twist those bolts in and out by hand!
I'm looking into a quick release if anybody has tried one.

I use a hex in a drill. It is very easy and fast to change these wheels out. I think that I have it down to about 10 minutes or a one beer job! Good luck.

Steering wheel trade
We have a Moto Lita steering wheel (wood) that we will trade for a leather one. Steering wheel was on SPF 1299.

FST SNAK,
Thanks for your interest. Now that I've contemplated the quick change route,
I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it or not.
I'm warming up to the idea of having both types...
Give me a few days to think about it.....you get first chance at it.

Bnewell,
I'm quite sure it is, but FST SNK doesn't seem to frequent this site much these days.
I may still have his phone number somewhere, so I'll try to tell him you are interested....
