Default Windshield Needed

Looking for a complete windshield for a CSX or KMP car. Would not mind putting together a group buy from England.

Allan,

My last new windshield last less than 5 mins so this time I decided to try a lexan windshield. I spent $40 on the lexan and I had Plastic Engineering here in Tulsa cut the lexan to match my old windshield another $40.

I removed the old windshield and installed the new one in less than 30 mins. 8 screws to remove only (you don't even have to remove your side post that bolts to your firewall support frame). Extremely simple procedure and the lexan is much stronger than the glass. I just thought I would toss the edea out for you to consider.

Clos,

I have no problem trying that, but I also need a frame.

Allan, Why can't you just buy one from Shelby or Kirkham or Finishline?

Clois, Why did your windshield only last 5 minutes?

????????????????

Caught a rock or something in the pass lower corner. First one lasted over 5 years and then three in the last 6 mos.

Most plastic or plexiglas supply shops carry lexan (lexan is a brand name) or an equivilant. I think my windshield measured 51 1/4" x 17 1/2". Try one of these:

Thanks, I don't know why I was having trouble finding this on plastics. Thanks again. Jim
