427 Emblems
I am looking for two 427 emblems to put on the front driver side and passenger side near the headlight bezel of a 66' Fairlane.
Any help would be appreciated.

I could be wrong, but didn't they have 427 on the hood, and 7 LITRE on the fenders in 1966?
Or did the '66 427 emblem have 3 red verticle bars with the numbers and checkerboards?
Here's some sites for you:

Cheers!

If you want the emblems, correct or not for the car, they are available at http://www.finishlineaccessories.com/

A decent 427 - not the worst, not the best, will go from zero to 100 mph and back down again to zero in less than 14 seconds. All thing considered, you can put together a pretty good argument that the 427 Cobra is the ultimate performance car, judged on any basis you want to name." Thanks to all. From what I can find there were about 50 Fairlanes built in 66' with the 427 side oiler. Those had the 427 emblem with the red vertical bars and checkerboards. My car originally came with a 390 however I am dropping in a 1966 427 in it. The emblem is cool and I debating putting it on the car just as the original's would have had. I believe it went on the front quarter panels, not on the hood.
Thanks again.
