Default Registering a 1965 in Georgia

I have a registered 1965 (sp constr) title from PA does anybody know the easiest way to get a tag in Georgia? Does it get registered as a collectible an antique or just a normal car?

Thanks

JCAST: All you need in Georgia to "register" (get a tag) is a Bill of Sale. Georgia doesn't issue a "Title" to something that wasn't "titled" in Georgia, in 1965 or so.

I don't think your PA title will help, but a Bill of Sale should be fine. Good luck!

I went to the tag agency and they said I needed to have it inspected to make sure it was legal before they would issue me a tag. Will ask them again in the AM thanks

If the car has never been titled by an owner, yes you do. Hope your not in an emissions county. This is if your approaching the state as a kit car.

Under Club Forums go to AC Cobra, it's the Atlanta area board. You'll see several threads already started.

Well I went to the tag office for a second time and finally they gave me a tag as a non tittle car. I did not have to do the state inspection as the first lady said was needed. So now it's time to continue reading and learning.

If it already had a tag from PA. they should just reissue one from GA. as long as it was registered as a 1965 in PA.

Congradulations!!!!!!! Yep, you sometimes have to get the "right" person to get the tag.

Now, post some pics and stories.
