Default Help needed registering

Its been sitting for a long time. First purchaced in 1992 so the bill of sale says 1992. No where on the bill of sale does it state 1965 or 66 Cobra 427. Before I can get a brake and lamp inspection, I need documentation stateing what year the vehicle is. Its never been registered so DMV wants to make it a 2006 vehicle. So then it will need side marker lamps, reverse lamps, reflectors, ABS..... I dont think so...

If it is never been registered or titled, and the bill of sale states it's a 1992, then you have to follow the current rules and regulations in your state. There are no more legal loopholes and to try and do something shady to get your car registered as something it is not risks heavy fines and the potential loss of your kit car. Especially in California........

Default Registration

Is your cobra registered to the year that you purchaced it or to the year that you finished it?
