Tim,
we have stopped taking trades for a while until cash flow gets better. See post below yours, from some guy named crillyiv (looks Greek).
Mr. Greco,
If you don't know the answer to that, you obviously haven't done enough reading...
There ARE no production delays. Production delays are a function of "production". There must be production to have delays...
There ain't any! Delays OR production.

The sad truth about the delivery problems at Road Serpents!! Yes, it is cash flow related, but not what they say.
Spy cameras have photos of the entire Road Serpent production area being pushed aside so that the company can introduce a totally different car!!
Yes, it appears they have become bored with the whole Cobra thing and are using your deposits to tool up and diversify the product line.... by going into the Street Rod business as well.
They have made a copy of the body of Boyd's Aluma-Coupe. Except instead of aluminum, it will be fiberglass. Word is they are going to release it as the Fiber-Coupe!!

I got my 289 Road Serpent within 2 months of placing my order.
25% down at order, balance due at time of dispatch. Very frienly staff and a well run organization. The owner had some sort of accent and his english was 'ok' but once he understood that I had money I wanted to give him he was my bestest friend.

Doug 1,
Please post a picture of your Road Serpent. Turk would like to see one.
As for production, it is hard to work in a shipping container so the car will take time.

Open Letter to Current and Future Road Serpent Customers...
It has come to our attention that some of you (Ok, maybe MOST of you) are not all that crazy about the way we do business.
I have to respond by saying,
1-We don't really care.
2-We are not all crazy about you either.
Thanks for your continued support.

Turk,
I was doing a Google search on Road Serpents.Having followed this thread, the more I read the more research appears to be needed.
In any case, every search keeps leading me back to Road Apples.
Not having seen a picture I was wondering if there are any similarities in appearance and price ?
Model Road Apples (Horse Manure)
Reg Price: $5.95
Our Price: $3.95
Item Number: BO-521
Here is a little horse manure from HorSense to complete your toy ranch! Our stall cleaning equipment is a great way to clean it up! These horse toy road apples are on a piece of straw matting!

Hey,
Don't knock Road Serpents..
It is the number one listing when you do a search on Google.
Scary, to say the least.
Today Google. Tomorrow Yahoo.
That is going to be our new Mission Statement for a week or so.

Hey Ron
I'd love to post a pic of my magnificient 289 RS. It is truly a beautiful car and it turns heads whenever I'm out driving. The quality of finish is unequalled in the replica industry.
However I can't. Turk asked that I don't post any pics as the increased business is something they could not cope with. That and Turk is bigger than me. His delivery driver was there also, a fella named Jam or something. He's wayyy bigger than me.
Anyway here's a link to a pic of their delivery truck.

Don't worry MrM - the 289's are better.

He had ERA build one of the nicest cars I have ever seen, apparently sparing no expense whatsoever, then didn't keep it (he sold it) and just kind of headed off in to the sunset.

Happy trails to Turk. I for one miss him. We talked a couple of times back when and his pre-Cali life came very close to mine by only a couple of miles. I understand he is still a Gashole but as I don't know the secret handshake I have no contact.
