Default Pictures of my just completed new car

I started building this car a few years ago. I drove the chassis with a hot rod body that I had made back in 2008. I ran it a Run n Gun and did pretty good. I then stripped the chassis and used the complete engine and drivetrain to build my own Cobra replica. I have been sculpting the body and gathering new parts to finish her up. Last year I took a year off to take care of some health issues I was having. It feels great to have it completed. If I am successful at attaching a picture I will add more.
Some details. 1980lbs, 500hp. I built the space frame with the same wheelbase and ground clearance as the 1997-2004 C5 Corvette. The Vette suspension cradles simply bolt into my frame. I moved the engine rearward by about 22 inches from the stock Vette location to achieve a 54% rear weight balance with me in the car. The engine is a modified LS6 and is connected by a shortened torque tube to a 6 speed manual transmission.
I wish that I could debut it at Run n Gun this year but my business (not cars) is demanding my attention right now. I love my Cobra and I love my new Spyder too! Thanks for looking. John

That is a great piece of work. Congratulations on the completion. I've always wanted to do something like that. But my Cobra build will have to suffice for now and that has already taking too long. But I continue to dream.

Success nourishes hope.

Arthur

John I think you have outdone yourself. The car is beautiful and the graphics are done well too. Great job but I wouldn't expect anything else from someone like yourself. I hope I get a chance to see it in person soon.
