Run & Gun 2007...are You Thinking About It?
That's right October 11, 12, and 13 2007 is just around the corner (just 281 days from now). I hope all of last years participants are making plans to return this year and we can attract many new drivers that needed a little extra time to get their Cars sorted out.
Watch for more news as it becomes available.

Clois,
I think about that event the most. I can't wait. You, Dean and Jay did
a super job of orginizing. I really think the new format is terrific. Puttin over 300 miles on your car at a track event is unheard of but many did just that.

Morris I think that is a great idea. The feedback from everyone I spoke regarding last years seminar was excellent. Thank you for your time and patience and especially your insight into the do's and don'ts of how to make our cars handle. Great Job Morris.
Steve,
What do you mean "feel like family"? You are family and we enjoyed your participation and help. We had such a great time with everyone involved last year we can hardly wait for this years event. We have a few things we want to improve on and we will this year. I promise this year will be even better than last.

Hey Woodz,
The Duece was a trip! You need to let your son drive your Coupe next year and see what he can do. I bet he is really fast! He is a great kid. Looking forward to seeing you all again this fall.

favorite event out of my whole year.... sure is a loooonnnnnggggg way up there, tho'.
hope to make it. Have to see what the school calendar is for next year.
Don't really see much improvement needed, next year. I am not staying at the HInn, tho'. The Fairfield across the way was much nicer looking.
The cold was ok- would rather it be cold than wet, for sure!
About 10* warmer, and it would have been perfect. I'm not complaining, tho'.
I sure hope I can make it next year.
Kristen
I am ready for street class (gonna kick butt) and ya'll just wait!!!!
ps- clois- that wasn't woodz's son, but a shop helper, I think. (probably would LIKE to be his son!!)

Already working on the alignment and steering on the Cobra (to improve the sh!tty high speed stability that it currently has). I might even go as far as to get different wheels and stickier tires if the budget will allow.
Hoping to go to Bondurant in March and then catch a couple of high speed driving events up here and perhaps down in OK.
Fuel injection map is fairly good but I might be able to lean it out just a bit to pick up a few more ponies.
I didn't quite hit my goal of being the slowest at R&G in 2006, but I was pretty close. I won't have the same goal for 2007.
Going to be fun!!!

Clois too early to tell
Clois too early to tell. Have to figure out the new spring bill and shocks from the Professor Morris suspension school. I guess I missed the fine print about the extra COST after school. Thank's again Morris. Would like to see 10f warmer. Car not breaking would be another plus. Maybe the OLD guys can take the younger guys to school on cutting 1/4 mile lights. Last year old guys 2, young guy close. This is on a perfect .000 light. Petek I was the slowest with only 6 cylinders running. Look at the times. I am worried about that women from Texas with an ERA that was getting faster with more track time. She has a wieght advantage over us larger guys. We may need to handycap her. I might come to see Morris do the pyrotectic again. Steve's going to run that car under 1 minute this year, I can see it coming. Jay, Dean and you did a great job. I have to fix the motor first but that will wait until the kitchen is done Rick L

Right now, I'm looking at convincing my better half that I NEED to do R&G, Mid-Ohio (London Show), and Hastings. I'm hoping to make them all this year. Thinking that if I spring for a cruise for the family, that might do the trick. Wish me luck!
If I'm convinving enough, I'll take you up on that dinner and I'll spring for drinks.
Cheers!
Dave

Alright!!!! Alright!!!!!!
I normally try to be invisible in the preliminary discussions of R&G but I will say a few things now I now have a new vehicle that I will be driving at R&G 2007... more to come as my first test and tune will be April 5 at Hallett... hopefullly with Clois and Dean there to help me relearn how to drive.
Then to Hastings in August and the to Gateway in October. This is kinda like Mark Martin's final tour
Morris yes there will be another performance day with additions.
I can't promise more track time.... but then again who needs more for the price.
Rick, just come...too many people depend on you! If your car is running well, you will kit a lotta butts and a bunch of others will not receive the benfit of your knowledge or sportsmanship
Kristen, it ain' t that far,,,soon I will have you driving to Elkhart Lake Wisconsin to drive Road America...the greatest track in our country imho.
New web site being worked on and rule changes in progress.
I am so humbled to have coordinators like Clois and Dean and all of the volunteers. LIFE IS GOOD!!!!
Jay

I am also looking forward to R&G this year. Let me just say that Hersh won't be the only gt40! The tech seminar is a must attend event. Thanks again Morse for your support of the event. I think we all saw the event make the turn last year and it is only getting better. Stay tuned!

James,
I can only imagine how fast you will be next year with slicks. You really are quite the shoe you know?
Has Jay told anyone about the Chaparrel he will be bringing? I think he will be running in small block street....2007 will lend itself to some interesting entries.
