Default Run and Gun Arrival, Registration, Tech and FAQ

Upon arrival at Gateway International Raceway you may drop your trailer in the pit area before registration between 6:00- 8:00 P.M. This will enable those that prefer not to leave their trailer and cars in a hotel parking lot a chance to leave their vehicles at the track. The track provides 24 hr security. Run and Gun participants may arrive as early as Tuesday October 9, 2007. However, do not move your vehicle into the garage until after you have registered.

Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. -12:00 noon Wednesday at which time you will be given your packet that will include your event paid sticker (to be placed in the upper drivers corner of your windshield), your assigned transponder (if you do have your own transponder we will need your transponder number to give to our timing and scoring person), your t-shirts for the event, schedule of events, and a menu for Friday nights banquet choices. You will have the opportunity to pay for the Test and Tune track time if you are planning on putting your car on the track on Wednesday. All Seminars are free to participants and spectators. Registration will also be open from 4:00 P.M. until 6:30 P.M. Wednesday evening for those early event arrivals. All participants must be registered before they can proceed to tech. Registration will re-open Thursday morning from 7:30 until 10:00 a.m. for all remaining participants.

TECH. Also, on Wednesday morning we will begin Tech for all vehicles w/ preference given to those persons participating in Wednesday's Test and Tune. Tech will be open from 7:30 am until 9:00 am and then again immediately following the seminars for 1 hour preceding the Test and Tune track time. Tech will re-open at 5:00 P.M. and remain open until approximately 6:30 P.M allowing those arriving early for the 2007 Run and Gun driving events an opportunity to tech.

Tech will only be done in the assigned lanes of the garage and NO CARS WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE TRACK WITHOUT THE PROPER TECH STICKER. It is your responsibility to get your car thru tech before your track session begins.

Do Not park in the Garage until you have registered and received your packet. Garage space may be at a premium this year as we have assigned certain areas of the garage to the manufacturers and vendors. Garage space rental is $60 for the event and can be paid at the time of registration. Garage rental is separate from Gateway and goes to the event coordinators to cover their out of pocket cost of speakers, seminars, printings and extraordinary expenses associated with the production of this event. Revenue’s from garage rental are NOT a means of income or profit from this event. This is solely a means of re-coupment of some of the out of pocket expenses by your coordinators.

Run and Gun 2007 is for the enjoyment of our participants and spectators and your event coordinators have made every effort to make this a safe and memorable experience for everyone. We look forward to seeing all the new and familiar faces again at your 2007 Run and Gun.

Thank You,

Clois Harlan
