I can't wait to see the new cars and all of the changes that you guys have done to your rides. I got back from my trip late friday. I had all week to think about my car and decided to make a few changes. On Sat I cut some of the frame a part and redid it. I finished painting the chassis last night. Today I start final assembly. I get to drill and rivet on over 30 aluminum panels. What fun!!!
I leave for Run n Gun 3 weeks from today. I don't think that I can build the car and have the quality of paint job done that I want in that time frame. Probably will have to bring the car in primer. Bummer. I am planning to drive the Cobra to the event. What better way to shake it down. Plus it gets over 30mpg. My tow rig gets 9 and I will keep the wear and tear off of my truck.
Hopefully all goes well and I get it done!!!

Just got great news from the engine builder in Arizona, the motor shipped today. Looks like I won't have to ride my bicycle after all

The diversity this year will be beyond our imaginations. We even have some "Fastest Challenges" in our Mfg Pro Class which should prove to be very instructional for all of us. When we arrive on Wednesday we will all experience the butterflies and anticipation of the event. This will be the biggest and best Run N Gun Ever! We have several manufacturers that will be introducing new products and never before at Run N Gun Manufacturers that will be experiencing The Run N Gun Nationals for the first time. Lot's of first time participants and alumni that will leave on Saturday anxiously awaiting 2009.

We have upgraded everything about Run N Gun from the shirts to the banquet and we think you're going to take away from this event a level of excitement you that have never experienced before. Virtually 360 days and nights of work by your Run N Gun staff will all come together in just a few days. We can't wait!

MMMM I can just about smell those coookies baking,the margarita mixer is primed and ready I hope.And who contacted the dancing girls this year.Im hoping for at least 1 group photo Shwwing

Can some one tell me how to attach full size photos. When I tried it before I was only able to post thumb nail sized pics. Guess I need to go back to school to learn how to use the computer. I hate getting old and out of touch! I am heading back to the garage to keep building! John

I AM READY...you guys need to hide when I am behind the wheel. Clois, are you building an "antiBuzz" bunker for everyone to hide in when I am driving. This happens when I golf as well, I have friends that take helmets to make fun of me!

Buzz,

We are going to be issuing full body armour to all within 50 feet of your pit. I figure once you're on the track everyone is on their own and the Black Flag or the WALL resolves all conflicts

. You are going to be fine in your million dollar car. Shoot anyone that has one that doesn't put it on the track is a sissy! (.,)

I talked to Dean this morning and your ride is ready for you once he does the shake down when he gets back in town. Dean really likes your color choice. I have to admit I like it a lot too!

For some time now Ive been milling over a wing I just cant bring myself to do it.So I am mocking up a defuzzzzer for under the tailend pretty much done with the side pods working the center tomarrow for a runngun tryout

Good Luck to all of you attending R&G.

If possible, it would be great to see lots of nice pictures close up, from different angles, and back from the group to get a perspective on how it looks when all of you are there together. Have fun!
