That's great that $10,000 was raised for the wounded hero's fund. I wanted to buy a shirt for that reason, and because they looked cool of course. I am getting ready to join the Army Reserves this summer as a Army nurse, and I am glad to know that there are other people out there like myself who care about the guys overseas protecting our right to live in a free country. I'm looking forward to my opportunity to serve for this great country....and as a bonus, I'll be able to get in to next years Run N Gun free! Well, that is if I'm not over in Iraq or Afganistan.

Another driver matched the Mongoose $2500 donation yesterday. So the new total for Operation Comfort is north of $12,500!!!

How about posting the link to the wounded Hero's fund. Many of us can't make it to R & G and would like to help out.

Thanks, jshel1,
I think that is the same one I gave to last year off some one else's post. Great group. I received an email and card from them to thank me. I had lost the link due to a computer hard drive failure. Glad to have it back.

Bill,
My son and I tried to raise more money for the cause on ebay by selling your autographed photo you that gave him. Just to let you know, we actually have to pay the ebay staffers to take it off our hands because they wouldn't accept a reserve of $0.01
In all seriousness....glad to hear it was a successful event.

How about some video from the drag strip. The top one is the grudge match race between two Gateway Cobra Club guys (me) and Mark (Howard Stern's long lost brother from another mother). I obviously(purple car) need to work on my launch's and reaction times. http://www.youtube.com/results?searc...rch_type=&aq=f
